Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups (300 ml) milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Additional melted chocolate or chocolate spread for filling and topping

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.

  2. Combine Wet Ingredients:
    In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, melted butter (or oil), and vanilla extract if using. Mix well.

  3. Create the Batter:
    Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking continuously until smooth and free of lumps. Let the batter rest for about 10 minutes.

  4. Cook the Crepes:
    Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil. Pour a small ladle of batter into the pan, tilting to spread evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges lift slightly. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  5. Repeat:
    Continue with the remaining batter, stacking the cooked crepes on a plate.
